The temperature is dropping and thankfully it’s starting to rain. We aren’t looking forward to the rainy season, but for the sake of the fires around us and the hazardous smokey air, it will help. Oregon is on Fire

As of today, over 360,000 acres of Oregon is on fire. The smoke is terrible in low lying areas like ours with air quality declared Hazardous. Some roads have been closed intermittently and fire restrictions are in place statewide. We missed a closure on I-84 yesterday as a newer fire burns right near the gorge.

Chickens
