Fall is on it’s way

The temperature is dropping and thankfully it’s starting to rain. We aren’t looking forward to the rainy season, but for the sake of the fires around us and the hazardous smokey air, it will help. End of Summer

It’s been a fast year since the move and things are starting to settle down. My parents managed to make a visit at the end of August to see the Solar Eclipse. We were not in the path of totality, but just outside it. While we didn’t get the totality effect, the midday sunset accompanied

New Pellet Stove

We decided to remove the old wood stove in favor of a more efficient pellet stove. We have a ton of cut wood but have used pellet stoves in the past. The advantages of a pellet stove are many, but the ability to turn it on and off when needed is far easier to manage
