End of Summer

It’s been a fast year since the move and things are starting to settle down. My parents managed to make a visit at the end of August to see the Solar Eclipse. We were not in the path of totality, but just outside it. While we didn’t get the totality effect, the midday sunset accompanied by the quiet and coolness of the eclipse was an amazing experience.

My father is a woodworker and does fantastic work. He made us a sign for the entry to the property. I’m always amazed at his skill and appreciate the gift immensely. The summer has been very dry and the smoke from the fires pretty bad around Eugene. I did manage to get a few photos of some things around us.

We are finishing up several inside projects and will post some before and after photographs soon. Stay tuned!
