One of our favorite places to explore in the Eugene area is the Mount Pisgah Arboretum. I especially like to visit in the fall as the park shows its diversity in the changing of the seasons. Fall in the PNW can be quick – so time your visit right to catch some of the colors!

Located off Frank Parish Road the park is open 365 days a year from dawn to dusk. There are several miles of trails that range in difficulty from easy walking trails to more difficult climbs up to the Mount Pisgah summit.

The 210-acre park has a broad ecology from diverse groves of trees to grassy meadows and rocky hillsides. The park is used for weddings (there is at least one going every time we’ve been there!) and they host a variety of workshops, learning tours, and events through the year.

There is no admission fee for Mount Pisgah, however, parking is $4.00 per vehicle or you can use a Lane County Park Pass.
