We put a new roof on and had the house painted. The roof wasn’t in horrible condition, but it’s getting to the end of its life. So, while we can and before it gets bad – do the roof. We worked with Renaissance Roofing. They were great to work with, every night the cleaned up to a degree we didn’t know they were there. Between the house and the shop, it took them four days to complete the work.

We contacted a local painter (click here for his yelp listing) to re-paint – some of the roofing work left some unpainted surfaces along the eves so this was critical to get sealed up. Larry did a fantastic job and worked around the geese even though they would get wound up when he moved the ladder around.

We are happy with the color change and need to replace windows next, probably next spring. We also have plans to add another deck and sliding door to our bedroom and plan a cottage garden around it where the blueberry patch is (we don’t like blueberries and they just go to waste….).
