If you are looking for a series of very easy and accessible horse trails near Eugene – one option is Elijah Bristow State Park. The park is located just outside of Pleasant Hill just off of Highway 58. It has 10 miles of trails for horses, mountain bikers, and hikers.

For novice equestrians like myself it’s a great safe location to gain skill and confidence. For those with more experience, it’s a nice relaxed atmosphere with some great facilities including a newly developed obstacle area to challenge your horse.
