While Stanley definitely has a few more years to give to the Working Equitation sport he will eventually need to slow down and move into retirement. If you are looking for a series of very easy and accessible horse trails near Eugene – one option is Elijah Bristow State Park. The park is located just outside of Pleasant Hill just off of Highway 58. It has 10 miles of trails for horses, mountain bikers, and hikers. For novice equestrians like myself
